Potato sowing North Fife

North fife has historically grown potatoes a plenty, in fact there once was an incredible rail infrastructure with many halts, alas gone through political choice, at the time there was a push to promote road transport and grow the motor industry. Dr Beeching, eat your heart out it's needed now given the price of oil etc.

Harrowing and de-stoning at the same time following the plough.

Potato sowing North Fife. Improving prices has caused a much larger acreage to be sown locally, the conditions are perfect, friable soil, dry and good weather to be in. Highly mechanised and efficient, how times have changed.
