Low water on the River Tay by Newburgh North Fife today 17th September. Tomorrow is New Moon and just like Full Moon the rise and fall in the river levels is at its greatest the difference being about 4 metres due to the tidal aspect of the waters here.
Sand banks exposed at low water.
