Ploughing Chamionships Pusk Farm North Fife

Vintage Tractor and Plough.
Last weekend on my way to Cupar in North Fife I became aware of small low notices staked into the roadside verges indicating Scottish ploughing championships ahead. After Cupar on my way to Wormit the signs reappeared and just passed Balmullo a large one indicated right to Pusk. The event is obviously well known in farming circles but not to the general public. It was near the end of the last day but still fascinating to witness.

A more modern plough design.

The 45th championships, to be held at Pusk Farm North Fife, have attracted more than 170 entries and visitors from throughout Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland. Many of them in the vintage section some of which are shown here.
